NO Clicks on my ppc campaigns any suggestions?

I have set up 10 click bank products on ppc and am doing direct to merchant ppc just to make sure they convert before I set about a landing page. Only 1 of them is getting clicks. The rest are getting no clicks or impressions. Ive actually hired a professional company to do the ppc and they dont seem to know either and are saying just let it sit for a while. The campaign has only been up for a 4 days. Is this normal or is something wrong I was doing a resveratrol cpa offer which i have now paused because of the FTC crackdown. any thoughts?

thanks Robert

    Hi Robert,

I recommend that you invest in Warrior James Schramko's course, Double Digit CTR - it's very good.

With that, you won't need to outsource your PPC campaigns - especially if they aren't getting results for ya!

    James' course is here.

BTW, I am not affiliated with James or DDCTR in any way.

  • 1. raise your quality score

    2. raise your bids

    3. read around on the ppc forum here

What kind of products or services you are offering? it's important that your ad contains keywords that you are bidding especially with Google.

It's important to split test your ad and see which one has higher CTR.

It's important to bid only one keyword per ad group.

It's important that your ad have strong copies and call to action statement e.g. "download now!", "get it right now!" "Call us now" etc.

Because the prospect will know nothing about what you want them to do unless you tell them!

Does anyone who is promoting your offer using those keywords? Spy them with keyword spy, spyfu, keyword elite whatever keyword tool available in the market'

Robert, it could be that if you are direct linking, there are other competitors linking to the same product, and were doing so before you, in which case you won't show. I know it is quite common practice, but I do not personally use direct linking, even when testing. If you are spending money to get a visitor, at least try and capture him first, that way you get more than one chance to sell that clickbank product to him.

Also are you doing this just on the search network, or is this a content network campaign ? Content Network can take longer to start showing clicks, but to be honest, the company who is running the campaigns should know the answers.

      Hello Robert,

That would also be my conclusion regarding complete lack of impressions, especially
      with 9 campaigns.

Perhaps take just one of those 9, get a domain and make a simple landing page or
a presell content page. See what happens with impressions. If you do this, be sure
to have links to basic privacy, terms, and contact pages. Also, for added insurance
have links to several basic content pages to help with QS. You can put the content
page links right next to the others at the bottom of each page. Daisy chain them.

I would agree that if you are direct linking to the merchants page this could be the problem as only one add will show for each keyword thus giving you no clicks or no impressions,

What I do to test is I always have my own domain with an Iframe this lets me track easily and eliminates the problem of my ad not been seen, and as soon as I no the campaign is going to be profitable I build a site/landing page.

        Hi Robert,

The problem with direct linking is that Google will only display one affiliate ad at a time. So if there are other affiliate marketers bidding on the same keywords then your ad will never display unless you outbid all of your competitors.

Your only option is to bid way high, find different keywords or stop direct linking. If you are running a test then go ahead and bid high, get your data as quick as you can and then build a landing page if the test results merit it.

Ken above is probably right. It would be strange to get no impressions at all if the campaign is active. Before doing what he suggests, search on some of your keywords and see if there are other advertisers linking directly to that merchant. Study their ads and try to beat them. You may have to increase your CPC to something higher than you'd like to get your first impressions and clicks. You can then reduce it and see what happens. The idea is to write attractive ads that will get high click rates. Then they'll be the ones with no impressions. If that doesn't work then get your own domain as Ken says.

high guys thanks for your responses the person I hired said just wait and see. But I do think something is wrong it must be the direct linking. My plan was to do direct linking to see if the vendors page converted then do landing pages. currently im using click bank code does anyone rate this?

RAJ, instead of direct linking why not buy a cheap .info domain? you can get something like resveratrolfreetrial.info. Costs like 89cents from Godaddy. Then you can create pages for each of your offers. Also, if you are ranking number 1 for your ad and not getting any clicks I would think there is something seriously wrong with your ad copy.

    Hi Robert,

Google can be a tricky little fellow some time. Have you tried to use any of the other elemenst in goofgle adwords yet.

Why not give placemnt locating a try as this might get some click throughs while you are waiting to work out what is wrong with your account.

    Hope this helps

I'm not sure what PPC firm is working for you, but if they can't tell you why your campaigns are failing after 4 days, or at least make an honest attempt to go back to the drawing board and troubleshoot, I would look into using another service or do it yourself.

I have. They think I have been slapped for using direct linking without a landing page. despite assuring me this would not happen. (aaaarrrrhhhh)

I did take a serious punt with this firm as I paid very little for them to setup my campaigns. If I have been slapped is mad to go back and try and promote the same products with a landing page. I dont want to offend google again and risk getting banned before ive even started. I was trying out a resveratrol cpa offer which i have paused in case thats the problem. Im looking at a more well known company that will build and optimize a landing page for my ppc as part of the package
