Website not visible on google

Hi,
One of my websites ('contentremoved.com') is not being listed on google, though it will be 2 months in existence very soon.

I've setup my google webmaster account, submitted the sitemap, tried 'fetch as google' and submitted to index, checked if there is no "no index" meta robot tags, and no strange messages on my webmaster account either.

Any ideas? Many thanks!

I don't get it. My website is just a personal blog that talks about things like "difference in Indian and Latin food", "Languages in India", "Dances in India" and other personal experiences. Whats so spammy in this??

  • Maybe because it's in Spanish? although it's not in Google.es either.
    It's indexed in Bing though.

Is this a brand new domain? i.e. not registered before?

What is the fetch tool telling you?

    • Hi Tim3,
Yes the website is in spanish, but yes it's not present anywhere on google.
I bough the domain from a domain provider, and not from a person. I guess it was not registered before..

Im not sure what you mean by the fetch tool, do you mean "fetch as google" from webmasters? It runs fine, and no errors. But when i do site:mysite on google, it does not show any results.
      What do you suggest? Thanks

    • ..just checked using the tool you mentioned. This looks scary. What can be done about this?
      Thanks
    • Your website is possible get penalized by google.

    • I do not think that this site is very serious. I tried a dozen domain names that receive decent traffic, including YouTube (owned by Google!) and I received 12 times the following message:

"Domain Name" Possibly is penalized or sandboxed by google!

  • There's a more few things you can try which I've used in the past:

Run your site through this tool:
    https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/

Create and submit an XML sitemap in your GWT Search console
(search for free XML sitemap tool online or use a plugin)

Embed a couple of related You Tube videos on your site, temporarily

If you have an Adsense account, stick a few ads on it.

    Wait...
  • Here are some other things I just thought of you can do...

    Check:
    robots.txt file
    .htaccess file
    ensure they are properly configured

    DNS or server connectivity issues
Maybe you had server issues when Googlebot called

    URL Parameter
Submit your preferred URL version of your site in GWT e.g. www or non-www

Check in your Search Console for crawl errors (404's) and maybe your server logs too, Googlebot usually identifies itself.

The google webmaster guidelines say i need to clear the content and request a review? I seriously don't get it

(ps - what further troubles me is that why google did not notify me on this. My webmaster account still says "" I got the idea to check the manual actions somewhere from google search results.)

  • check your meta because some time if you set no index flag you won't be index your site.

    • Hi Steve Mark,
The meta tags are in place, and its not doing a "no index" or "no follow". My robots.txt too is the standard wordpress created, just to stop the admin folder.

But the problem is that somehow google has index my website as a spam? You can find the details in my last reply to Tim3
    • Guys, i have good news. Just got an email from google that my reconsideration request has been approved!

There was no explanation given, but well i don't mind!
The website is yet not in google search, maybe because i just got the email minutes ago. Hopefully things will get normal.
Thank you all for your time!

  • Prateek, this domain was dropped once before. Most probably penalized.
    h**p whois.domaintools .com/unhindu .com

Check the whois history you are the second owner and no idea what was the case before you owned it.

    • Hi Webmasterior,
Are you refering to the name "Prateek varma" in the whois information? That's a friend, and we do this website together. Or is there some other reason you're saying this domain has been bought before?
      Thanks
  • After submitting sitemap and fetch as Google it will take some time to crawl and to index your website. You need to wait

    • Hi DigiEdge,
The sitmap was submitted around 2 months ago.
Please read the above comment i made for Tim3... google someone has marked m website as "pure spam". And im now trying to figure out why...
  • No matter how you slice it, and regardless of the inane comments and helps above, the site is pure spam.

You can't get over that with the same old, rehashed advice. Sandbox? Come on people.

How about sandwich? Like spamwich. A manual action spamwich.

Nothing on this planet is going to help.

Now let's get to what is probably the problem.

This little tid bit is supposedly written by you: "Mi español no es muy bueno"

Then why, pray tell, are you doing an entire site in español? For laughs?

Since your spanish is not good, you must be using a translating tool.

Translating tools are, for the most part, generating gibberish. Sure, it's palatable gibberish, perhaps. To some folks who can agonizingly get through it. But if you post it without a real-world translator reworking it, B I N G O! We have a winner! Your site is probably looked upon as doing this:

"Text translated by an automated tool without human review or curation before publishing"

And that is considered automatically generated content. On every page. Read: Spam city.

And that domain? Man is that confusing. Not related here, maybe, but unhindu? I thought you were doing a site on getting people out of being a hindu! Who knew it was un hindu.

    • Hi Paul,
How about we lower our blood pressure a little bit first.

I live in a spanish speaking country, and thats what i speak now... Gramatically, the spanish written in the blog is not wrong.

I wrote that my spanish is not very good as a disclaimer, as i might miss the best ways to write spanish.

"unhindu" for any spanish speaking person would be clearly understood. And google won't have a problem with this atleast.
I'm sure we can continue the conversation without sarcasm, so i hope you can cool down a little bit.
      Thanks

    I'm happy for you!
  • First of all verify your website with google and then try to publish your website into serach engine.
  • Maybe the domain has been spammed to death before, have you checked its backlink profile data before getting it? I'd just go buy a new fresh domain if i were you
