I have a site called fedorfight.com built by wordpress. I think I screwd up bigtime when I installed the SEO all in one plug-in, I really had no idea what tags are or meta fillters and bla bla the list goes on and on..I know my site has alot of good content but im not getting alot of visters, and im figguring thats why..

I know I have to start writing blogs and getting my url out there as much as possible but right out of the gate I would like some help on keywords and all the things that make a site visable to google.

One thing I know I might have messed up on is that my home page is a post that I syndicated news feeds on to. I most resently read that your home page is very important in the optimization process, but if my home page content is continuing to change its content might that be a factor for keywords not working? Should I skip the SEO all in one all to gether and start from scratch? Im hoping somone can help cause im really lost here..

    well you rank for FEDORFIGHT

A good place to start with a business is with a plan. Know your market and how you plan to enter into it. List all of your steps and work on this list.

One of the most important things about being an IMer is being able to research. Learn this and all of the information you desire is at your finger tips.
I would suggest you use the search here and Google as you have a lot to learn. There is no sense in people re-writing what is already available.

    Good luck

As Home has said, you definitely need to figure out your complete market on who you're trying to get come to your site. This includes demographics, age groups, and a few other things. I would highly advise writing articles with keywords as your anchor text for your links in the articles that relate to your sites niche. Use Google Web Master tools to find out which keywords are best suitable for your site.

Well I know who my market is and as for reserch ive been doing nothing but for 2 mons, its alot to wrap your head around. The thing I need to know before I start making articles and what not is the SEO structure of the site itself. I meen I had things comming up on google I didnt even put in the SEO plug-in. As for now I turned it off cause im probly doing more harm than good.

Are there people on this forum that can SEO your site for a fee? Then that way i can learn off what they did for next time. It seems when I start to reserch one thing it always opens a can of worms and before I know it I have 20 tabs on my explorer!!! lol
