Use social media. Tweet free ebooks or reports. Have links to your pages. Post informative articles or videos on Facebook that include links to your page. Have a YouTube channel with helpful videos pertaining to the subject of your squeeze page.

Be sure to submit to good article directories. Not only google penalized a lot of those article directories.
But I think ramtar meant to get traffic directly from them.
I always wonder, who will read those article directories, so much junk on it.....

I agree don't forget the "Call to Action" or everything is lost...

Solo ads can work if you start exchanging with other solo ad sellers, then yes it's free.

Banner advertising can drive you some great leads too (banner advertising is not dead, i suggest you give it a try).

I agree with you that paid marketing is good, but you also need to run FREE marketing along with Paid marketing, so the FREE marketing sometimes cross your Paid marketing. I hope this helps..

Everyone here is/are (sorry not an English Major) suggesting some very good traffic building tactics. The problem with all of these tactics is competition and online advertising has a huge learning curve. I would like to suggest something that has very little competition and that is Offline Advertising.

Before I get hauled off on a rail and get hate mail and death threats (LOL) let me explain. This technique will not overload your website with traffic, but it may find the right person that will join your business.

Here is a picture of the license plate on the back of my car - slightly blocked out - while I am driving and someone sees it and wants to make some extra money they can pull out their phone, snap a shot and go look it up online when they get home.

I got this personalized frame from amazon.

Offline advertising may not get you a lot of traffic, but it will get you traffic and if what you are selling floats their boat they will buy. Thank you.

just do some questioning and involve in the groups ... if they want to stay long in the business, they better be prepare with it

Invest time creating marketing material for the social media platform that works best for your business. Use tools like Canva to quickly create beautiful images! Content marketing, posting on forums and guest blogging are techniques that help grow traffic.

Also what's the point of growing your traffic if they don't convert? Create call to actions to encourage getting their email or future sale. Use CTA's to promote contests/giveaways as well.

Hey,

These are generally good strategies thought it must be add that they mean absolutely nothing if not done consistently, with a clear strategy as to how you are going to create the traffic (especially for the cost free methods).

Solo ads are good- i find for sending users direct to the offer and you other sources to start creating that list. On facebook if you type in 'Solo Ad Testimonials' you can find a fantastic source of solo ad users who give specific reviews on the people they have bought from- with opt in rates, conversion %. Its a great resource to try and vet who you are spending your money with.

Be carefull with these sentences... Yes in your case, this forum is suitable for your signature... it depends of your niche(s)...
But it won't generate traffic of search engines, because topicof forum isn't always related :-)
