  • hey , it seems that your domain is very new so you will not get any domain authority right now . Wait for few days and build some quality backlinks .You will get domain authority naturally .Thanks
  • Domain authority depends on your website's popularity and the age of your website. So keep your website by adding the quality contents and get more reach.
Build an high-quality backlinks from the top authority websites which are related to your website niche.
Also, being patience and keep update your website to get your DA increased after some time.

    • Nope. DA has NOTHING to do with the age of a website. You are just making that up. Stop misleading people.
  • You're fine. DA is not a ranking factor. It is not used by Google. It is just a third party metric.

  • DA is only updated periodically. if you have a DA of 1 and your site is a couple months old at least then no matter what the posters above are telling you erroneously you are not fine and need to build some links

DA is by no means a perfect metric but if all the Moz numbers are low its almost always an indication the authority of the site is low and you need to build links
  • I missed the part about you using a .website TLD. That has no impact at all on DA as measured by Moz.

DA is just a measure of the number and quality of incoming links to a domain that are in the Opensite Explorer database. If the links are not in that database, they can help you to rank better, but they won't influence the DA number one bit.

Hypothetically, you could have 100 great, high quality links coming into a domain, and still have a DA of 1. The OpenSite Explorer database is fairly limited, which has always been my problem with the Moz metrics.

    • The odds that any site would have 100 great high quality links that do not show in Moz AND not have any other links moving the site from DA 1 would be astronomical. People can cite anything hypothetically but in the real world if your site is page is stuck on a 1 its a pretty good indication you need links.

  • Thank you guys... I got reply from Moz..
    here is that:

"Hi there! Unfortunately, we don't currently support custom Top Level Domains (TLD) such as .website - I think this is why there's no data for this site in our Index and why Open Site Explorer is giving you errors when you try to search for the site.

Unfortunately, I don't know of a good workaround for this - it's a technical limitation of the tool. I'll make a note to bring it up with our product team - I know we plan to expand the list of TLDs we support, but I'm not sure what kind of timeframe we can expect before new TLDs will be supported. "

    • To be honest I would dump the domain and not use that TLD - not because of SEO but because some TLDs just telegraph the site is new and the domain was chosen because every well known tld was gone. From a branding standpoint (provided your site has any repeat visitors) you also lose quite a bit on type in traffic.
