hey , it seems that your domain is very new so you will not get any domain authority right now . Wait for few days and build some quality backlinks .You will get domain authority naturally .Thanks

Domain authority depends on your website's popularity and the age of your website. So keep your website by adding the quality contents and get more reach.
Build an high-quality backlinks from the top authority websites which are related to your website niche.
Also, being patience and keep update your website to get your DA increased after some time.

Nope. DA has NOTHING to do with the age of a website. You are just making that up. Stop misleading people.

You're fine. DA is not a ranking factor. It is not used by Google. It is just a third party metric.

DA is only updated periodically. if you have a DA of 1 and your site is a couple months old at least then no matter what the posters above are telling you erroneously you are not fine and need to build some links

DA is by no means a perfect metric but if all the Moz numbers are low its almost always an indication the authority of the site is low and you need to build links

I missed the part about you using a .website TLD. That has no impact at all on DA as measured by Moz.

DA is just a measure of the number and quality of incoming links to a domain that are in the Opensite Explorer database. If the links are not in that database, they can help you to rank better, but they won't influence the DA number one bit.

Hypothetically, you could have 100 great, high quality links coming into a domain, and still have a DA of 1. The OpenSite Explorer database is fairly limited, which has always been my problem with the Moz metrics.

The odds that any site would have 100 great high quality links that do not show in Moz AND not have any other links moving the site from DA 1 would be astronomical. People can cite anything hypothetically but in the real world if your site is page is stuck on a 1 its a pretty good indication you need links.

That's why I said hypothetically. Although, on a newer site it would not be all that farfetched depending what kind of link building is going on. It could take OSE weeks or even 2 months to find most of the links. Then add in another month or so until the next DA update rolls out.

Either way though, you need links to rank, not because your DA is 1.

The real question the OP had was about the TLD, which plays no role in the DA.

PR used to take 3 - 6 months to show up publicly so thats hardly saying anything Mike. Anyway your scenario sis definitely far fetched - It would require Moz to miss 100 authority links and also not get any other link built to take it up from a 1

Even you can see that but i guess your are just backing that up to save face

Either way though, you need links to rank, not because your DA is 1.
Thats kind of silly. Everyone knows metrics measure links strength and are not links by themselves so its a statement that corrects nothing. Is a DA 1 a pretty good indicator of a weak link profile?

Yep out there in the real world it is.

TLD we agree definitely doesn't matter but the overall questions was about DA not changing which it wouldn't because there's probably been no link building or the time has been too short.

I just think it s a whole lot more useful to learn to use the metrics we have than constantly trotting out the rank foolishness they have nothing to do with SEO or ranking (because its not pagerank). Link building always has something to do with ranking so almost any wide spread metric has something to say (if you use them together) about the link profile and therefore ranking.

its really just soo silly - we all have to learn how to use the metrics we have not the ones we will never have again. No system of course will be better than what we HAD in Pagerank but sure you can use Moz and Majestic and Ahrefs to get a decent picture of a link profiles strength in many situations

and it sure beats the junk out of selling the baloney that you can tell link strength just by looking at links - thats just crapola to sell a course.

Thank you guys... I got reply from Moz..
    here is that:

"Hi there! Unfortunately, we don't currently support custom Top Level Domains (TLD) such as .website - I think this is why there's no data for this site in our Index and why Open Site Explorer is giving you errors when you try to search for the site.

Unfortunately, I don't know of a good workaround for this - it's a technical limitation of the tool. I'll make a note to bring it up with our product team - I know we plan to expand the list of TLDs we support, but I'm not sure what kind of timeframe we can expect before new TLDs will be supported. To be honest I would dump the domain and not use that TLD - not because of SEO but because some TLDs just telegraph the site is new and the domain was chosen because every well known tld was gone. From a branding standpoint (provided your site has any repeat visitors) you also lose quite a bit on type in traffic.
