[Plugin: Yoast SEO Back-end: Wordpress] Unable to update meta tags on the website

I use yoast plugin for SEO on my website. Even after updating the Meta title and description in the back-end, it doesn't reflect on the website.
Steps Done till now
1. Visited SEO-> Title and Meta -> Homepage -> Updated the meta tags
2. Visited SEO-> Title and Meta -> Post Types -> Title Template -> %%title%% %%page%% %%sep%% %%sitename%% (Current Meta title template)
Please let me know how to reflect the meta title on the front-end.
