Attack with backlinks from porno sites

Hi. Recently I've noticed that my website gets links from porno sites. Someone deliberately puts links with porno anchors by using free porno hostings for this purpose. It's clear that someone from competitors decided to knock out my site from SERPs.
I've run into this for the first time and I would like to hear recommendations of experienced ones. Is there a way to contact Google support and to show these URLs - to remove them from search index?

By the way, I've tried to contact the owners of these porno hostings - but it was in vain - no one answered me. To write a hoster - it also doesn't make sense because only abuse stable servers are used for such sites - and they don't care about any requests or threats.

So, there is not a simple situation - do you have any idea how to solve it?

  • Wow, that's dirty. Are you registered with Google Webmaster Tools? Not sure, but maybe there is something in there that can help you deal with this.

Of course I've checked there - but didn't find anything suitable. I've put these links into Disavow links tool but I have a huge doubts regarding its effectiveness.

I've tried to make a request to remove these porno pages from serp by using Google support dedicated to fighting with content stealing (they helped me a few times) - but support doesn't even want to go into details of what is happening - it's interested in only copyright questions.

    Cause and effect....

There's nothing wrong with a link from a porno site.

They are some of the biggest, baddest, authoritative sites online.

Your competitors would not waste their time...as it's a losing proposition.

What you have is probably just normal-link-referral-spam.

Welcome to the world of the internet.

If something as insignificant as this takes your site down, then it was very, very, very weak to begin with.
And that is a huge "if."

Are you sure it's bad porn backlinks that knock your site off from top 10 SERP's? We all know backlinks are important to SEO but it's only 1 out of dozens of things that Google use to rank a site.

I can help diagnose further if you post your site/URL to see if there are other problems at play.

Otherwise, don't worry too much about it.

Using disavow for these unwanted links will take time and the worst nothing will happen because its only a request for Google not a mandatory to assess your site immediately. However, Google will figure it out as soon as possible but now while in waiting try to rebuild your site's links from related blog and sites.
