Until about 3 months ago I had to farm out all of my SEO work because I wasn't comfortable with doing it myself.

I was getting killed in fees and crappy work. I mean dropping several hundred dollars into an account only to have the person disappear and my money being lost.

Finally, when I got fed up I did some research on various SEO course, classes, etc. I found a lot of them had great info but I couldn't understand most of them.

At any rate for an internet idiot like me it has to be simple and easy to understand. Well I came across a report from a fellow warrior. I read it and to use a worn out phrase I was blown away.

The next day I met with a client and used her report page by page to do all of the SEO work myself. Money and time saved.

Best of all when the client had a question I actually have the knowledge to explain it to them.
