Hey guys,

I have a contract to be the middle man selling SEO services for a local SEO company. I was wondering what would be the best way to get in front of a potential client. What is the best approach?

Thanks,

Mike

Just contact them and tell them what you have to offer, show them how it can help them and give them proof from past contracts.

Think about where they get their customers from and who they are.

If you can show them you can get more customers through the internet and these customers are targeted customers, then you are on the right track.

You really need to sell the point that you are going to increase their leads - as that is what they will be focused on. They probably won't care how this comes about - online, offline or whatever. The key for them is getting conversions.

Best way I'd guess to spend little money and arrange free live seminar for 2 hrs and run advt on your local news paper, flyer etc. This will give you a great chance to know real people more. my 2 cents

This works like gangbusters. Try to partner with someone like a local bank or a professional organization which will add credibility. Sell the bank or professional organization on the fact that you would like to offer their customers a free seminar on SEO/Getting More Qualified Leads/Increasing Profits/etc. It is good for the bank or professional organization because it allows them to offer their best customers a value added service (this is how you should approach them so that they allow you access to their customers) and it is good for you because you have instant credibility and most likely they will underwrite the costs which shouldn't be very much money any way.

Give examples during your presentation, but don't really try to sell them during the presentation. Just offer them a free consult or maybe do one live with someone's website and you will have more business than you can shake a stick at. I make a ton of cash doing this and it is super simple.

For me the best way to approach them online is you send them an email, mostly formal email so that it appear as a professional approach.
Then tell him your intentions and the important thing is to always tell them the benefits, discounts they couldn't get from other companies.
show them how it can help them and give them proof from past contracts.
Yes I agree, Showing some proof makes you more reliable or credible.
I hope this is a big help to you.
      thank you.
