It's all depends on keywords, Choose your keywords according to your location like - "car wash service in las vegas" in that case you'll get 80% traffic from Las vegas

    Hope it helps

    Via organic search?

You can set google webmaster tools to target a specific country.

If you are referring to the site in your sig your domain extension will help.

I think your problem isn't the fact you can't generate country specific organic traffic but the fact you aren't generating much traffic at all because you haven't built strong enough links - correct me if I'm wrong.

The best-proven way of targeting specific countries is creating links to authority sites in the same niche.

These authority sites must receive traffic from US as primary.

Doing this you don't need to care about anything else, no proxy or IPs or article directories.

There's a function in Google search console called International Targeting that can help you to target your main country visitor. You can try using it.

Visit Google search Console -> Search Traffic -> International Targeting -> Choose Country at Country tab then Save it

    Good luck to you,

Yes! Location-Based hosting does matter a lot..... That's the only reason I preferred location-based hosting for my different businesses websites. Only a few hosting providers give you the option to choose your server (data center) location. Like I preferred cloudways bcoz they are providing hosting all over the world, they have DO, Vultr, Google Cloud & Amazon Cloud servers ready and you can easily select any location based server where you want to market your product

First of all, you need to have keywords targeting a specific country and you could do this in sites like SEMrush or ahrefs. You just need to type in the keyword and then click the target country and it should yield you with the related keyword specific to the country of your choice.

I think you a re on the wrong board as most of the people here are into black hat and grey hat. In your case the links you are getting are not good enough and you should be doing outreach to webmasters to get solid links

The first thing you need to check your webmaster tool in that what location you have selected in Geo-targeting International targeting option. Then you need to target or set keywords related to geo specific where you want to promote your business and yes local directory submission is one of the best things you are doing.

    Thanks

First you should start targeting geo specific keyword which will helps you to gain some local traffic. although getting higher position in the location based keywords is easy than generic keywords. so I would like you to target geo specific keywords.

Try submitting your website to local search engines and directories. After that, you could also use Google trends to study what keywords are ranking on that specific country, increasing your chances of traffic from the targeted sites.

Depends. For the hosting side (when we are talking about SEO) the most important thing is loading speed and uprime. That could be that next door hosting company provides you service and you have poor connection speed and downtime. But overseas company provide your perfect uptime. And that would be better solution.
