Put adsense ads under title will be banned by google?

Hello, warriors,

I want to put my adsense ads under my article title, but read a post said it violated google's TOS and will be banned.

But I also read x-factor's post said that he also did that and make $300 per day by adsense.

So my question is: is it safe to put my adsense ad under my article title?

Like this:

My Article Title
Adsense Ads
My Article Content

I also read a post said it's better to make it clear that those links are advertisement. Like this:

My Article Title
advertisement ( font color is lighter than adsense ads )
Adsense Ads
My Article Content

Is it safe if I do add " advertisement " above the adsense ads?

Thank you very much!

  • I don't remember reading this in the Adsense TOS.

I am pretty sure you can have Adsense under your title, but you have to make sure your title does not influence people to click the Adsense ads.

    You can't have titles like:

    "Today's Hottest Deals"

..because it makes the adsense ads look like they are the days deals, when they are not.

So you can use some titles but not others. There is a thin line here. If you don't know if your title is legit, or are in doubt, then you probably should not use that title. Just take the first sentence of your article put it between the title and the ads. Pretty easy to do.

    • Wade's got it right. If the title can be construed as suggestive, then you are technically in violation. From Google:

      1. Ads shouldn't be placed under a title or section heading in a way that implies that the ads are not ads.

  • Good info and explaination.

    Thanks Wade, Mark and Kay.
  • Unless you have read my course then please do not quote me as
    giving this advice.

In my book, yes, I state that I put most of my ads under my title,
but I also advise to put a few lines of text in between them just
    to be safe.

I just happen to push the limit at times, but would never tell anyone
to do this unless they knew what they were doing.

  • i have a line stating ADVERTISEMENTS between the title and ads - so that has not led to any problem.
