Infected results in Google Search

One of my websites have been infected and the 'virus' created a lot of spammy files which google indexed under my site.

Any ideas how I can quickly remove them ?
There are like 5,000 links all in chinese.

I know there's a google removal tool where I can paste single url, but that won't help me much as there are so many of those .

    A temporary band-aid is, do a site:domain.com search for the spam anchor-text and edit/remove/noindex those pages.

    You still need to figure out how the spammer entered the site and fix that problem ASAP.
  • Hopefully you can recover a cleaner backup of your website from before it was hacked.
  • I had the same problem on one of my sites, you need to go through each page one by one and make sure it is ok, its a real pain but you need to make sure they are all gone before submitting reconsideration to Google.
  • Try contacting your hosting support many a times they keep regular backups from time to time that might help you here.

    If not then only thing you can do is filter out all the spammy urls either via tools or manually and set them to noindex. Increase security of your sites so that this might not happen again in future.
  • Your website is infected with Malware and not virus.You should install SSL Certificate (Secured Socket Layer) which will prevent this from happening in future.

    • SSL most definitely does not protect your site from malware. If you happen to be using WordPress for your site, I know there are plugins like Bad Behavior which block link spam.

      Once you're done cleaning up your site, make sure you have backups automated and make use of free web application firewall services to prevent future bot attacks.
  • Login to your Google webmaster tool and you can disavow backlinks from certain sources, but if you have 5k from spam sites, then that might not be the most efficient option. Try blacklisting the domains themselves in your webmaster tools...hopefully most of the links fall into certain duplicate domain names.
