First of all I didn't understand your query here. And secondly, comments are never going to pass any link juice, they are only good for referral traffic.

      It's a hack of a setup but I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Not true at all, assuming the comment/links are followed.

This is very easy to prove/test. I'm not saying how on a public forum.

You won't have any issues with this method. However, I would recommend finding other sources for your tier 1 links. I have noticed from testing that backlinks from those tier 1 platforms do not help much for ranking improvement. The platforms are too easily accessible to the public, so Google treats them differently. You are better off finding a website that has high domain authority that isn't a typical blog platform and making a post on there with your backlink. Then, you should build the tier 2 links to that post. This will have a much better effect on SEO.

Folks are both right and wrong here regarding comment links being followed and helping (or hurting a website).

Generally speaking, comments are worthless because most credible websites no-follow their comment links. Sure, you can find some sites out there that allow followed links but they are usually very low authority domains.

The other thing that people need to keep in mind is that Google has not run Penguin in almost 2 years. When they run it again (it's supposed to be very soon), it is going to destroy websites that have unnatural link profiles (like ones with hundreds of comment links). What seems to be working now will not work soon and will destroy websites that have been lulled into this false sense of security over the past two years.

Google says that this next time will be the last time that they run Penguin as a separate algorithm filter. They are going to make it part of the algorithm so that sites get penalized in real time after the next round of site executions.

The reason OP wants to send comments to his Web 2.0 is to raise the PA. A Web 2.0 on these platforms can handle these types of links because of their DA and if they are no-follow or low-quality it doesn't matter so much.

Building a Web 2.0 and increasing the PA of the page that links to your money site is a proven method and works great especially for low comp keywords. Of course, all the content and the link needs to be contextual and directly relevant.

What I would do is to use different blog comments for each platform because using the same ones is leaving a footprint. You should also send some Social Bookmarks to all the Web 2.0's to help them get indexed too because Wix and Weebly will take longer and need a little push.

Sigh ...I just cannot believe people go through all this trouble to game the system instead of just going out there and getting real, quality links for their real websites. Sad.

As to whether it works or not, the jury is still out on that. It may work presently because Google has not run Penguin in two years. We'll see what happens after they run Penguin again, which is supposed to be soon.
