A client of mine (Client A) is going to be renting a large warehouse type building in the middle of a large american city. He is going to be renting out this building to multiple sub tenants with different types of businesses, italian food, mexican, jewelry, clothing, design etc.
I need to build a website for the overall warehouse and I want to try and rank it in local seo for the keywords related to all the businesses. IE jewelry KW, italian food KW etc. I was going to make a page for every sub tenant business on the site and try and rank those pages. For example creating page on url warehouse.com/italian-food-city-name/
Is this the best way to go about this? Anything in particular I should consider beforehand?

I think the best way is to start adding to your keywords your location. Also you need to use the same keywords on your web site. But I would agree with above suggestion Social Media is way to occupy your audience faster.

  • Now that I thought about it, I agree with your way i.e yourdomain.com/individual-page-url format would be the best way to go about local seo (no need to include your city name in the keywords or the url).
For keywords, try researching on google keyword planner tool with keywords such as "affordable jewelry shop" "tasty Italian food in yourcityname" "quality inexpensive clothes" etc.

The best way is to create the different pages for each business. This way its easy to target the same set of keywords on the same page.
