So now Google applies real time filters......

... and now there will never be any warnings in the future.

So what to do?

https://marketinginsidergroup.com/co...orithm-filter/

has a great article about that, including:

Building great links

Minding your keywords

and remembering that Google can apply the Spam Score on a per-URL basis ( https://moz.com/blog/spam-score-mozs...alization-risk )

For more ideas, check out:

It's something to consider, going forward.

Enjoy!

You act like real-time ranking would be a bad thing.

If it was actually real-time ranking (it's not) that would mean anyone could instantly hammer a ranked competition page into oblivion.

Yeah, I see the whole real time, no penalties, single page only aspect to be a black hatter's dream. Of course, for all we know, they have flags that when so many are tripped, it triggers a manual site audit that could get your site penalized and manual penalties are extremely difficult to come back from.

One thing's for sure. It sure makes deciding if something is a questionable link a lot easier knowing that the worst that will happen is the link is ignored (at least by the algorithm).

You do realize that Google does not use Moz's Spam Score!

There's a lot of folks that act like moz diy metrics are ranking factors.

I guess If you can't convince them otherwise it just makes the SERPs that much easier for the rest of us.

Doing SEO as natural as possible will always be the safest way to keep rankings, no matter what update Google comes out with. Thanks for sharing the articles.

      Question for you.

      1) Did you hire a VA to create multiple accounts so you can eventually promote your product?
      2) Did you automate this and created a bot to answer with various spintax? "Great post. it is definitely helpful." And you only go for keywords such as "google guidelines, algorithm," so that way you can respond with the basic bot answers?

If so, give me your automation. I could use it.

I always kind of ask myself, would I want this on my website. If the answers no eventually it will not count toward my page ranking. Note I avoided the word penalized.
