Back-links vs Internal links

Hi Friends,

Recently, while I was exploring search console at section of Internal Links, I noticed that all of my top internal links have good ranking stats at google. Does internal links have greater affect comparing to back-links?

Second, does Search Console shows real data/information, is there any chance that Search Console might give you wrong data?

Yes internal linking is a part of onpage seo and does gives you a good boost but they cant help you in acquiring top spots. You still need backlinks to move up, and for Search console I found loads of inaccurate results in it maybe it could be that it displays results from overall data rather than targeting a specific country.
