    Hi There,

Many people run into the same issues with most backlinking software as these programs are far from perfect. Google also doesn't tell you where most of your backlinks come from, making this an extremely difficult metric to track. The number of backlinks also doesn't have anything to do with how many visitors you get or what your conversion rate is, so it's not a very useful method to track.

Alexa rankings are a much better way to track how effective your website is, but they're actually calculated based on the average number of visitors and pageviews you get on a daily basis, not how many backlinks you have. They also work hard to weed out any fake/spam views so the rankings are more accurate.

If your Alexa ranking isn't increasing it's because your backlinks aren't actually leading to increased traffic. This means you need to increase the quality of your backlinks and work on making all of your content more engaging.

    1. Post comments on blogs with a link to your site in your signature line. When you add comments that are relevant and informational you will build traffic.
    2. Join an online discussion group and forum. Begin to be an active participant. When you join the community you will be able to spot the people who are building a productive business. When you create a strong relationship with these people, they will ask to link to your site. They will want to be linked with another profitable business.

Well you are most likely to be doing link scheme instead of link building, that's why..

most backlink checkers do not crawl everywhere looking for links. if they are deep within sites and spam they may not be included in any data base.

However from this and other posts it seems to me that you have taken on a job you really don't know how to do.

    Hi,

It doesn't work. In the case that you're ranking for the keyword that nearly no one or very few people search for, backlinks from forum or blog comment may work (SPAM).
In addition, Don't care about quantity of backlinks, focus on quality backlinks.
My advice is you must avoid SPAM backlinks, why don't you spend times to learn more about what real SEO is, there many free resources or you can buy a quality SEO training to strengthen your SEO knowledge.

    All best,
