Can This Service Help To Rank High on Google?

Recently I subscribe to a service whereby the service provider post articles (with three backlinks) which are spinned through a articles distribution site. The articles will be distributed to blogs by the distribution site. In fact if you own a blog, you can subscribe to the article distribution site for free contents (see my signature link).

The service provider promised that my site will be rank highly on the first page of Google. However I notice that most of the articles distributed appear to have PR0 or PR1 and with low Alexa ranking (at least 1 to 2 million)

Any comments from any SEOs experts?

  • Page rank and coming up on the first page of Google are two completely different animals. If you're shooting for high page rank, you need inlinks from high page rank sites. The articles will help a little, but they won't get you past PR1. They might help you come up on the first page, though, if you choose your keywords carefully and deep link (don't link to your main page).

What you do on your own site is becoming more and more important these days. Getting your visitors to stick around for a while is huge.

I can't speak on the service you are using, but I have used a similar popular service and noticed the same thing. My articles were getting sent to PR0 and PR1 sites. I kept the service for about 3 months but it didn't work out for me.

However, there are many people who are successful with these types of services. I think it depends a lot on your niche because you may not have a good selection of categories for your topic and therefore sent to a "sort of related" category.

I am a free member of such a service and posted one article which was published on a number of other blogs but I found that while my article did have my links there was one link at the end of my article which was totally irrelevant to the topic of my article. Does such irrelevant link hurt the overall feel and possible pr of the article which is the main purpose of such service?

You are subscribed to the free services therefore the distributing services operator will automatically create a link for one of its member who are entitle to a bonus link. As a free member you are entitle to two backlinks per article exceeding 450 words.

However if you subscribe to the paid services, you will be entitled to three backlinks. No bonus links will be created on your article as the maximum backlinks for every article is cap at 3 backlinks.

Yes, it can help you rank high in google, especially if the
various blogs in the network are all (or mostly) on different
IP and C Class IP addresses. Even though the quality and
page rank of the blogs would help if they are high, it's
not compulsory that they should be - they will still send
you some link love that will help with your rankings.

It's not too different from the good old mass submission
of spin ready articles to hundreds (or even thousands)
    of article directories.

Its hard to say whether submitting articles have effect or not...
The process takes months and who knows where the Page Rank come from

But i think its still worth try, as long as the fee is not too big
I'm sure there's a benefit with all the thing you did...

I am already in top 10 ranking (albeit the bottom 5). I have done most of the SEOs ranging from social bookmarking, articles/video/podcast/rss submission to software directory submission, blog commenting etc.

From experience most of the traffic originate from the top 3 spots and I do get to 3rd spot for a few days and there was surge in traffic but unfortunately I was forced down to the bottom of the front page subsequently. I am in a very competitive niche - weight loss.

The traffic I get from being 5 to 9 spot of Google is neglibile. I have done all type of backlinkings (paid and free) and hopefully to get the top 3 spot soon or else there will be no gold in my bank account.

        Hi,

That is pretty good as, you will definitely get on the top spot as these will help allot for this.

I do prefer these processes first to get on the top.

        Thanks!!

if you mean "paid" as in buying links then you might be making a mistake. Google is slowly filtering out paid links and they actively looking for paid link providers.

I do not mean buy links in that sense.

I subscribe to a service whereby I post a article (short + long) and it will automatically distributed to various social bookmarking, contents sites (including software directories) and will create backlinks not exceeding 30 daily. Further to that, I also used articled distribution services where it will distribute my articles (spin uniquely) to at least 30 blogs.

You have to use many different Link Building tactics and work like a professional on it - I personally recommend Link Juicer, Bookmarking Demon, You Tube, Commenting relevant.... - there are many links to the puzzle... You can also buy links but usualy it is not worth it
