No effect in serps after building quality backlinks

It helps to know the website and the targeted keyword phrase.

You should investigate your backlinks and make sure they are not coming from an "bad neighborhood". Also, if it is an expired domain use a tool like SEMRUSH to make sure that it hasn't been damaged by porno or Viagra spam.

Not sure whether expired web 2.0 back links help anymore. Also, are your back links indexed? Check the backlink metrics in majestic, SEMrush that would make the things clearer

How do you build these quality backlinks? Because Google's considerations on quality backlinks are not suspicious in which fluctuates in SERP with no improvement.

Of all the metrics out there PA means next to nothing. Google isn't stupid either. They are beginning to figure out how to dampen web 2.0s since marketers (who they consider link spammers) use them.

Hey, so let me try updating my question a bit , the blogs also have good trust flow rate and very low spam score, I am using unique content and adding around 5 articles on each blog so in short I am not doing anything spammy here.

things like building backlinks and adding content will be the same regardless of difficulty. How much you have to do is the only difference.

Make sure you have all the links indexed before measuring effectiveness of these links.
How many of those are indexed?

okay so here's the good news my page moved to page 11 from page 19 the best i've ever seen in these 2 weeks was page 17 so i understood that it will take effect slowly but surely

Think of the SERP like a marathon race. In a marathon, there are tons of runners in the middle of the pack and towards the back, but very few running at the front. The difference between finishing 4567 and 3922 is really very small. Probably only a difference of a few minutes. The difference between finishing 4567 and even 150 is a few hours.

In other words, you could fart and your webpage might pass other sites on page 19.

Make sure you've tightened up your on-page SEO. Seems like you have. I have a site, no link building all on-page and moved up in rankings (2nd page).

Add supporting articles with your site too. Build out that damn site.

Also with backlinks, how are you choosing your anchor text as that plays a big role too.

Are you mixing it up with naked url's, misc. anchor text (click here etc.), targeted keyword, LSI targeted keyword etc.?

Slap your site on semrush and see if you're ranking for any additional keywords, and go update your title tags.

Not sure how effective 2.0's are as well. Like I said, I've gone to page 2-3 without any links and it was all just time. And to page 2 to page 1 is to finish off with some high quality links / PBN's.

Forget all about the links that has been built till now. Focus on quality sites which are containing high authority. If a website is having good popularity in the online market & having good customer base, then it can help you to get augmented rank in Google search engine easily & this will reflect in your SERPs result quickly. Try to be informative & engaging by writing quality content which must be unique.

The links you are going after will have very little positive effect on your ranking. If you can place the link yourself, it IS NOT a high quality link, regardless of what some meaningless DA, Trust Flow or spam score by third party sites say.

A real quality link is hard to get and is one placed by someone else. Build quality pages that others will want to link to because it is beneficial to THEIR site visitors. Guest post on high quality websites where they have to approve your post.

When you are link building you must pay attention to the keywords you are targeting and incorporate them in the anchor text properly.

Using short tail keywords or simply hitting the exact match keyword you wish to target with 100 back links will most likely make it very difficult to rank for the particular term and the algorithm could be taking notice.

Using long-tail keywords 5 or more keywords (buyer and geographical) when link building provide better link juice for the targeted keyword and the added benefit of ranking for many long tail keywords that may or may not have traffic.

Utilizing buyer keywords such as, buy, find, locate, hire, best all help when figuring out what anchor text to use.

Utilizing geographical (local) areas such as, New York City, NYC, New York, NY all help as well instead of only going for short tail keywords like limo service.

In order to rank for shorter-tailed keywords you must use long-tail keywords when back linking and building pbn sites to link from. Try to come up with as many combinations as possible of words and hit different ones each time but remember to include the short tail keyword somewhere in the anchor text.

The short tail keyword does not have to be back to back as long as the exact match word is in the anchor text you will receive link juice for that keyword.

Lastly, if you are link building to a particular website (URL) but have not included long tail and short tail targeted keywords within your content (On-page optimization) then that also must be done in order to completely accomplish the SEO for your money site.

What I like to do when working on ranking a new site is to work on on page for the first the first week. Week two I build links. Week three I then go back to onpage work. There is always something more you can do to optimize your site. Then after that I link weekly.
