How this site can defeat Warriorforum on Google?

I want to know what marketing strategies or search engine optimization techniques that this site webmastersun.com is applying to get top 1 on Google.com, even better than Warriorforum.com

    I see Warrior Forum ranked #1 for the OP keyword.

    They're probably bouncing back and forth with webmastersun for position #1.

    BTW, OP has javascript turned off on his browser (left sidebar on SERP screenshot) which can sometimes skew SERPs.

    • I deleted all history but still getting same results, webmastersun is on top 1 search results although I have not visited this site before.

      I have also checked on different browsers as opera, firefox or internet explorer but have no changes, i will try next days.

  • webmastersun is on #1 position on Google.com on my end but on other Googles as Google.co.uk or Google.ca then the result is a bit different, warriorforum is getting #1. there is no difference between number 1 or 2, they will get good clicks when a website in top 5 Google.
  • Google will give you different ranking positions according to its respective locations and sometimes same rank. However mostly different because the search engine uses different metrics to determine the engagement of the site to the users.

  • May be they are doing some un ethical seo .. need to check the website .
  • Why in the world does this matter to so many of you? WF is not owned by Google so another forum can certainly outrank WF with enough links going to them.

  • Didn't check backlinks or any details, just looked at the Google screenshot.

    First thing to notice is the WebmasterSun result includes the searched phrase "Internet Marketing Forum" in the title tag, WarriorForum does not.

    The title tag is better optimized.

    All other things being equal (which obviously they aren't) you'd expect the better optimized title tag to beat the unoptimized title tag.

    I would assume WarriorForum is better linked than WebmasterSun and in most cases the better linked poorly optimized webpage (WarriorForum is poorly optimized) will beat the better optimized poorly linked webpage. Backlinks are VERY important.

    If WebmasterSun has a lot of decent backlinks with "Internet Marketing Forum" as part of the anchor text it might beat the better linked WarriorForum IF the latter doesn't have links with "Internet Marketing Forum" as the anchor text.

    The above is basic SEO, title tags are important, backlinks are important, anchor text of backlinks is important and there's other SEO factors that are important.

    There is no WebmasterSun is beating WarriorForum because of ONE factor. If WarriorForum were SEO optimized (the SEO here is a joke) the other forum wouldn't stand a chance.
