My Wordpress Blog Not Showing On Google Properly

Hey folks

My blog is on the first page of google for my keyword, but it only shows with my blog title all in lower case and the url beneath that - no description!

I Have all in one SEO plugin installed and properly filled in the Home Title, Home Description and Home Keyword sections.

It's been 2 weeks since I changed my title and that hasn't registered on google at all. :s

Any ideas?

If you are talking about the keyword "free freebies samples" and the website on your sig, it works fine. When I search for that keyword, your website seems as it is supposed to be. If not what is the keyword and url you are talking about, let me check.

Hi I have done a quick search in Google for your site and it comes up in 8th position on the first page (excellent!) and looks OK to me...is this your site:

I checked and yes, no description is shown. In your original post, you mentioned that you have changed your title 2 weeks back?

Your site is new? If yes, then I think you should wait for sometime, Google sometimes takes time to update information for new site.

Just add it to Google Webmaster Tool and submit a sitemap, I had the exact same problem, but for mine, I didn't have even have a title, just the URL! It was fixed in few days after adding to the Webmaster tool. Also make sure your WordPress blog's Privacy setting is set to be visible to search engines since it is set to 'not visible' by default.

My blog has been up for 12 months in the contractor niche and have over 175 articles but the traffic is very low. Yes, I'm new and learning but how can I increase my niche traffic.

      Thanks

Thanks for checking angilina. It kind of sucks because it's on the first page of google and not many people are clicking because it doesn't look very appealing.

Guess I'll just keep building links and wait for something to happen.

I have had the same thing happened to me with several of my sites--have no idea why because I use the same format, plugins etc for all the wordpress sites that I do..
