Is it better to use a iffy aged domain, or start fresh?

(blackhat disclaimer.)
Generally speaking....
I have a couple of aged domains that I bough, all with somewhat iffy metrics.
I was going to use and monetize, but on the other hand, it may be best to start fresh with a brand new domain.
i've only recently learned about filters and standards in terms of buying brand new aged domains. stuff like PA, DA, TF and so on. I will be holding it to higher standards in future.
Here are the kind of metrics I'm evaluating whether to use:
Domain 1:
PA: 20
DA: 33
Trust Flow: 0
Domain 2
PA: 1
DA: 17
Trust Flow: 4
Domain 3
PA: 40
DA: 28
Trust Flow: 3
And my options are:
- use them
- toss them away and buy brand new domains, and build up a PBN to rank them with
- keep looking for aged domains with better metrics instead (easier said than done).
What are your thoughts on the above?
