Does web 2.0 still pass link juice?

Do sites like tumblr and wordpress.com still pass link juice?

I'm working on taking my campaign to the next level. Currently am on page 11 trying to do anything possible to move up those extra 10 pages.

I have a tier 1 back link from a PBN pointing to my website but I don't believe it has indexed yet, at least not when I check site:url on google; however, google webmaster tools does show it under the sites linking to me tab.

My plan is to spin that article 20 different times and post them on web 2.0 sites but I'm also wondering if, and when I create my second site can I use these same accounts to post those tier 2 links as well or do I have to create another set of 20 accounts?

Secondary question: for this tier of link building, am I supposed to link my main site, or the tier 1 pbn article?

Looking forward to responses!

Your best bet is to just try it. You won't get in trouble by the cops. I promise.

BUT since you're new to the game ill give you a NINJA TIP.

Make a instagram account. In the settings set it up to post on tumblr too. Your instagram posts will be uploaded to tumblr. Include Hashtags in your instagram post and they will appear in tumblr. Include hyperlinks , they will show up on tumblr (not on instagram).

Now you just have to update instagram to share something cool. While at the same time building up your tumblr.

If the page linking to your site is a "no-follow" link, it passes no juice. Check for yourself and stop wasting peoples time.

You could have just google those questions. Believe me, i've done it.

Yes buddy it does. Web2.0 is a wonderful task that helps to augment the rank of a website & its sub pages which helps to upsurge its rank in Google & other search engines quickly. It needs to be remember that a website in which you are making Web2.0 must be of high authority & contains good popularity. Blogger, Weebly, Wordpress, Tumblr, Jimdo etc are some of the best sites which are highly popular for making Web2.0.

Web 2.0 sites never passed much of any link juice. When you setup a blog on one of them you are setting up brand new PR 0 pages.

What's PR got to do with anything?

Only everything. The PR of the page your link appears on determines how strong, or weak, that link is.

New web 2.0 sites are all PR 0 pages, therefore extremely weak links.

I bought 20 expired 2.0 blogs from a fb market place and seo clerks 15 tumblrs and 5 weeblys and I double checked the PA on MOZ and Majestic and verified the backlinks. Most of them have PA 30-38 and have do follows. I also found a couple with 30PA using a tool called Tumblr Hunter but they have no-follows. Working on writing unique content and diversifying my ahrefs. Thanks for the replies guys. I also signed up for Domain hunter gatherer and bought a couple proxies, I'm hoping to find more using that tool and maybe some expired domains to start my own PBN. or possibly sell some that I find on fb marketplace to pay for my subscription lol

It's the direct followed links pointing at the exact webpage/URL that matters, not If it's 2.0, 8.0, 27.0 or whatever.

The expired tumblrs I'm using have direct followed links and already established PA/PR. I've been able to scrape a few with PA>=30 with a ton of back links however they're no follow. I've been told those are at least good for diversifying my anchor texts however as Dr Los3 pointed out, they do not send link juice.

Although Dr Los3's advise was a bit harsh for my taste it was constructive cause I just tried it for myself. The cops aren't after me either. It seems to be helping cause with just 2 links in less than a week my rank dropped 29 places.

Also for anyone who may have the same questions as my original post
      1. 2.0's do pass link juice if you can re-register an expired one and they have existing dofollow links - I just bought them from seo clerks and a fb seo group, but I'm also scraping them with online tools (domain hunter gather, tumblr hunter by supagrowth.)

      2. you can use the same tumblr blog to post links back to any of your sites

      3. I found out that the expired tumblrs are considered tier 1 linking to money site. *I suspect you can use fresh 2.0 blogs as a tier 2 but I haven't gotten that far in my knowledge quest

Im building a few web 2.0's too i also bought some expired tumblrs from SEO clerks? How has you traffic increased with the ranking change?
I am in the proccess of adding content to the 2.0's so that I can link to my site in a natural fashion around post number 4 or 5

I'll pm you the seller I used, I got a couple of gems from him. I'm really just focusing on ranking right now since the #1 spot is my only goal. I'm not paying attention to traffic yet.

@kaltaka - I'm not using the "ninja tip" suggested by Dr Los3 but I did follow his advise on taking action to find out how this works for myself. So far good results using expired 2.0.

@luciesmazanska - I suspect it depends on which one has the most quality backlinks "do follow" and established PA, TF, CF. I don't think the 2.0 host is necessarily the biggest factor in determining which one is better only that perhaps someone would be more inclined to build a good blog on tumblr or worpdress since they're more popular.

Yes, they are good for SEO! Especially if the link to your site is using the keywords you are trying to rank for as the anchor.
I would recommend getting as many links on web 2.0 sites as you can without spamming.
I would like to know which Web 2.0 is best to build for passing link juice to the money site?

    - WordPress.com
    - weebly.com
    - jigsy.com
    - tumblr.com

Any do-follow link will pass link juice.

How much link juice is the next question... In content links are the most powerful in my experience and that makes sense.

Blog comments used to be use, now not so much... Not because they became hard to get (you can literally buy them by the dollar now) it was because Google decided to give them less value.

Web 2.0's kind of went the same way but not as severely, they are certainly worth having as a Tier 2 link to boost links you have already built, I'm not sure I would bother building them directly to the site I want to rank.
