WordPress: Get rid of tag cloud on sidebar or keep it?

Just wondering if a tag cloud actually helps with SEO or if it can be harmful.

I have a tag cloud on the sidebar of my blog Style Bakery

Would it be better to just remove it, or should I keep it there?

I can't really tell if it's actually helped with SEO, to be honest..

    tag clouds are links... more links on a page less impact every link has.. lose the cloud

    Tag clouds are basically meta tags in visual form enhanced by instances. Matt Cutts, a programmer at Google has said, "Google does not use the keywords meta tag in web ranking", so those tag clouds are not actually helping your page rank better. In other words, unless the tag cloud holds some sentimental value, you should probably lose them.

    Good move.

    But keep on top of crawl rates in web master tools, if they drop it means robots are finding it harder to crawl your site, if it drops add it back in.
