Hey team,

I'm doing some reputation management SEO and I'm in the process of creating a bunch of social profiles so I can use them to push my clients negative review off page 1

When I Google my clients name, I notice that there are already a bunch of people with social properties who share the same name as my client...

SO, my question is: rather than creating a bunch of NEW social properties and linking to them, wouldn't be easier to send links to all the current (other people's) social properties that are already ranking?.... using other people's properties to outrank my clients negative review?

    That really is more of a question for your client. In their mind, are they paying you to fill page 1 with listings about them or are they paying you to just push that negative review off of page 1?

      The client just wants the bad press to be buried any way possible... So the idea of linking to existing properties near page 1 seems the easiest option... hopefully works!

      I'm creating 2.0 profiles as I need them... Ive warned my client that reputation management can become very expensive so I'll bill him once the bad review is pushed onto the top of page 2 then ask him if he wants to go to page 3 or 4...

        You did not get paid for the work upfront?

    I would go for creating positive reviews for you client as ranking could change at any time and the more positive reviews they have the better.

    It really depends on what your client wants but my clients don't really care whose profile shows up on Page 1 as long as negative stuff gets suppressed.

    I personally feel sending links to already ranking entries is the easier way to get this done.
