Hello All,

This is my 1st post to this forum.
Thank you all in advance for your time.

I have practiced seo for the past 10 years, and have many web properties, that are generating a serious amount of unique daily traffic. all Geo's. (incl. us, china, ru, japan, EU)
for the past 5 years i am selling 100% of my traffic. cpm.

traffic comes from unbranded websites, all are populated with popups\popunders at the moment.
I want to monetize my traffic myself.

Can you give me your best recommendations ?
What are the best monetizing campaigns for such traffic ?
What is the expected CPM for popup\under traffic ?
tried to send some 5k popups to a Forex company, got 30 leads.
How is that for result ? normal ?

Thanks all!

Leads aren't sales. How much money did those leads convert into (per lead)?

    • none so far. just started 2 days ago. i only see # of conversions in their b\o. not the actual sales. yet. i believe the conv. rate from leads to sales will be the normal (for the industry & kind of traffic).

I also hope that I can find companies that will buy the leads themselves.
  • Never use myself in my 8 years online marketing popunder traffic it's just like a scam
    the best is PPC.

    • as far as i know, popunder traffic converts very well (for some industries).
of course the popunder traffic can't replace or compete with paid traffic such as PPC.
  • put yourself in the shoes of your custumers what are they fears they desires what they do and talk their jargon in your ad and give themk something you would had like to get when you first started in your domain not all just a part of it and free ask yourself what would i like for a company to do for me in order to get my business

  • Pop under traffic can be monetized but the prospect will be untrusting of the offer which makes conversions harder. You can get leads with enough curiosity but selling them may take time.
  • Well sounds good 5k => 30 leads ... which service did you use? intersting

    Something else to consider...

OP mentioned SEO so I assume some of that traffic is coming from SERPs. Google isn't a fan of pop unders.
