Hey Warriors

I have got in to PPC the last few months and I am doing well as of now, I mostly promote CPA offers and the odd clickbank one as well.

I am doing ok promoting free trial offers just now but I was curious to no what is a good conversion % for the average campaign?

I have heard that promoting clickbank products a good conversion percentage would be about 1 - 3 % would this be right for most things?

Or should I be expecting a higher percentage? since it is a free trial offer and only requires a small initial fee.

A good conversion rate is one that makes you a profit.

I don't do affiliate marketing and few of my past clients have. I would consider 1% low unless you make $100 and spending less than $50. One to three percent seems to be what to expect. But I've got clients where more than 33% was reached (free software download). Many have groups over 10% rates. One client averages over 6% overall and the goal is 8%.

One thing that will affect your conversion is a poor choice of keywords, so-called non buying keywords. Your ad may have an effect too. And of course, your landing page's effectiveness at convincing the visitor to buy.

Obviously depends on what type of niche it is, how good the salespage is, and how TARGETED the product is to cater for that niche. For the below product (see my sig) i am getting an average 3% conversion - I put this down to the product being very highly targeted.

Obviously with higher priced products you have a larger buffer with conversion rates, but that is something you will have to test. I havnt had any experience selling any product for over $50 myself.
