how important is SEO if you only plan to have a squeeze page? i am trying a lead generation idea and i plan to go live with a site within the next month or two...the site is not a typical squeeze page, rather a one page mini site hopefully getting opt ins from visitors including name email state and phone number (hopefully).

i can understand if you were going live with a large 20 page site content heavy interactive etc...

im not sure if i should budget for a monthly SEO or if i should use that budget and go with PPC or adwords or FB ads....

We always start with PPC and social and work on SEO while those ads run. SEO is a long distance race and the way to greater profits (conversions from free rankings are always more profitable than conversions you had to pay for, after all). We want some immediate return, however, so ads bring in some profit while we are slowly moving up the rankings.

I agree with dave. It would be favorable to put SEO in the middle of the list; not prioritize it. You can do PPC first.

      Best of luck!

If you have a one page website and thats also a squeeze page then ranking with SEO could be little hard. Best is to target email leads, PPC, Paid ads.

A squeeze page on its own will never rank for anything decent. Squeeze pages are normally used with paid methods, where you pay for traffic and direct it to the page.

If you want to rank and build a list, then you'll need to have plenty of content on your site before you can expect any rankings.

    Hey buddy,

You could do SEO, but not prioritize it. As what others said, it's best to put your efforts on PPC, social media, and paid ads before you move on to SEO.

    Good luck!
