I want you suggestions on following:

If I have Google Tag Manager (GTM) implemented to my website, then do I need also need to add Google Analytics (GA) to the the website.

Does this create any difference?

  • Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics are two completely separate tools. You can use Google Analytics for generating the reports and statistics about your website. However, sometimes you want to track a customize event or visitor’s activities on your website. For that you need to have different tags for all these features and that is done by Google Tag Manager. GTM makes it easier to manage by letting you define rules for when your tags should fire.

    • But, my question is still same. do I need to implement analytics, if I already have GTM. because GTM also track the analytics information.
