Hi,
I have a query regarding content changes on the website. My website has content but it is not well optimised in terms of SEO and user engagement, now I have created content by keeping SEO in mind. Now I am confused If I will change the content of entire website at once will it effects the website negatively from the point of SEO or any other Google guideline/ranking. Please give your suggestions.

  • I truly agree with you in this regard. It's a fact that we're indeed developing websites keeping the search engine needs in mind. We must focus on the needs of our target audience to make things look natural and relevant. The search engine updates even highlight the importance of creating appropriate content.

  • If you're rewriting the content to make it more SEO-friendly, then it should help you in rankings. You may lose rankings for some of the longtail keywords you may already be ranking for, though. If you find longtails you're ranking for you can try to keep them by leaving them in the article or strengthening them.
