I fell behind on keeping up with the trends at least with respect to search engine optimization. I've heard about a lot of different algorithm updates, which led me to hypothesize whether it's now a matter of content marketing with an organic distribution and having existing media relationship to distribution the content in order to earn the referred traffic to affect ranking?

I'm not even sure if I'm wording things correctly with the run-on sentence gibberish. I'd love to hear some feedback on what it is right now.
