First of all, I'm a very new in the SEO. I just think it is important when I have my own web site. I found some factors about Google PageRANK below.
I just want to hear what do you guys think about it?

factor point/activities

2/10 Update Pages Frequently
4/10 Add Pages Frequently
5/10 No Broken Links
7/10 Good Neighborhood Directories with high PageRank Levels
7/10 Monster Websites
8/10 Quality Inbound links
9/10 Quality Relevant Links

What is the monster websites by the way?

    PageRank is a relative measurement of link popularity expressed in a logarithmic numbering system. It made the Google Toolbar wildly popular and helped push Google to the top position in the Search Engine market. It is one of over 200 factors used to rank natural listings in Google's SERP.

  • Strongly agreed. Although I do think Google PR is really over rated.
  • No doubts about it - doing all said there will
    SURELY improve pagerank!
  • Toolbar PR value is usually out of date and often irrelevant to ranking. It is good for doing competition research when you compare it to the number of backlinks to test the weight of those links, but beyond that you shouldn't worry about it.
