Website Position Dropped Dramatically

Hi guys

I hope you can help me with my problem. I have following problem my blog Affiliate Marketing For All has been in Google in first page with keyword "Affiliate Marketing For All". This keyword according to my search without aposthrophe has over 87 million and best position that I had was in first page in fifth page. I have made SEO for that.

Now comes my problem and still I have wondered that how this can be possible. My blog position dropped from page 1 to way down to page 12 with keyword Affiliate Marketing For All. This was something that made me so confused.

Does anyone know what could be the reason? I have been doing link building and most of those links have had PR 0 because my blog has also. Also I would like to know that is it possible that my blog position dropped that high because of link building with low PR blogs?

  • Well, your site is brand new for one thing. Still a baby in the scheme of things.
    This means it is going to get tossed around a lot in the SERPs for awhile.
    Most of your backlinks come from just a handful of sites:
    Site Explorer - Search Results

    Just keep building links from various sites. I'm sure it will come back to the top in a few days.

    • But of course those link sites should be related to my website because there's no point to have link exchange with anykind website. At this moment I have had only link exchange with those sites that are related to subject of my site.

    • That's big relief. Has it happened to you too? I haven't done anything wrong, just been keeping my site updated but one reason could be that I have had two times periods where I haven't been posting for 3-5 days. Maybe that can effect but it should not effect that much.
