I maintain a page that is translated into several languages which all use the appropiate hreflang attribute.
Unfortunately some pages are not translated and only available in english.
Therefore I have urls which indicate a french version but the content is english.
Content detected by google is english of course.
My question is, should I remove the hreflang attribute from these pages or is it better to correct them?
I was wondering if google is able to sort it out by itself.
Thanks in advance!
