    Keyword stuffing stopped working nearly two decades ago. Create pages for people - high quality pages with real information that real people would find useful.Tweak those pages slightly for SEO AFTER you have written them for people (the KW phrase appears at least once, along with related phrases and is in the title tag). Finally, get links to your quality pages from real websites who want to link to quality pages to help their readers.

    Agreed with others. Keyword stuffing is obsolete and spam technique.
    Semantic search engine is something Google is evolving in recent days- when you focus on topics rather than keywords. You need to start using not only primary keywords but synonyms and related keywords as well. Moreover, with the increase of mobile devices usage it is highly recommended to consider conversational language.

    Wholeheartedly disagree with everyone who says it doesn't work.
    1. It is the primary component for TF/IDF which google uses.
    2. If it didn't work then why does Google to this day pay human beings to manually penalize sites for doing it. If it was solved by the algorithm then there wouldn't be a need for the manual penalty.
    3. Finally... if you use any data at all it correlates strongly with rankings most of the time.



    It is against the rules ... so it is dangerous
    You don't want to scare your visitors with it.
    You need to know where on the page it is effective.
