I don't do much off page SEO stuff anymore. I work at writing good content on my site around keywords that I know would be easy to rank. I do good on-page SEO with inner linking, sometime outbound links wherever it is relevant.

The only off-page stuff I do is use Google Webmaster Tools to fetch my posts as Google, and I then write a Google Plus post pointing back to the new post I just created on my site.
