Direct link to clickbank sales page

I want to try to direct link from the adword ad directly to the sales page for the product I am an affiliate for. Can I write my clickbank code directly in the destination url or should I have a landing page that I redirect from?

    You can link directly but need to show the end site as the destination URL. Adwords will only display the highest bid for that destination.

    It's generally considered better practice to have a landing page and capture emails!
