Google Showing Old Results

I've run the site:domain.com command through Google and it is showing over 300 results. After combing through the results, it seems that Google was picking up old pages and tags that are on our old http site.

I've entered all versions of my domain in GWT and submitted a proper sitemap to all of them. I've also gone through Yoast in the Wordpress admin and noindexed any pages that we are no longer using.

I believe this has fixed what Google will find, but the question is how long will it take to see these changes reflected in the Google results?

Thanks

    How much time has passed?

And state have you migrated from a old site to a new one? Or you just have your old posts deleted?

It's been a little less than a week since I made the changes in GWT and noindexed everything.

I didn't migrate anything, just made it https.

It could take weeks for the old URLs to drop from the index.

Sounds totally normal if it`s been less than a week. To be on a safe side I would simply revise all the common errors that may come along with switching, and make sure there are no absolute links still leading to http pages instead of https (also check the canonicals).

In case everything is in order - it should not take too long for the things to get back to normal, just not a week. Some ranking turbulence is also fine right after the migration.

Means will you use https for build new sites? If you do that then you must change your preference domain in webmaster tool.
By this method, Google understand and index newly created page by you.
