seo question

hey guys,

I am involved with maxbounty....

I forwarded a domain to it and when I click the link....

I am brought to the site but the domain that was forwarded to it does not show up.

How do I completely mask the lnk?

am I able to do that with maxbounty?

If not can I build backlinks to the domain that was forwarded?

Will it mess up s.e.o?

thanks

  • This isn't an SEO question -- it's a question for that vendor's help desk.
  • actually it is partly an s.e.o question because the domain name is for a specific keyword and if the domain was not forwarded it would be tougher for me to rank with my keywords...

    Thanks for your response though
  • it doesn't matter what the domain name is, whether it's a keyword or a bunch of gibberish.

The problem is either with the forwarding, which could be an issue with your registrar if you're using them to do the forwarding, or your host if you're using a self-hosted script; or with the destination site -- possibly because the forwarded URL is missing an affiliate link.

If the forwarding is not working, then the best doggone keyword in the world isn't going to work any better than 10 random letters and numbers, right?

  • i figured everything out thanks for your help
