Do bulk landing pages improve SEO?

by tahpot 7 replies
Should I create lots of landing pages with different content to maximize SEO?

For example, say there is a local plumbing business, should I create pages like the following:

/cheap-plumber
/help-fixing-blocked-drain
/need-urgent-plumber

Each page would have a unique headline and content relating to the page URL.

Does this strategy improve SEO?

If so, what tools can help quickly build these pages?

Thanks!

If they are well written, helpful, unique pages - especially if they have quality, relevant backlinks - yes, they will give you the opportunity to rank for more keyword phrases. Each page of your website is an opportunity to rank for something else, opening up a new doorway into your website for searchers.

There are no "tools" to help you build those pages. You use your brain, research and writing ability to create them. The only tools that exist are those people who think there are tools that can do this!

What tools can help you build pages that rank for local keywords? Try creating helpful content, and keeping your NAP clean. Creating a bunch of landing pages works will get you PULVERIZED by Panda.

Creating relevant keyword optimized for the three example pages the OP gave would NOT get you "pulverized by Panda". Those are three completely different things and it would make sense for a website to have three different pages for those topics.

Creating completely different pages for "cheap plumber", "inexpensive plumber", "discount plumber", "low cost plumber" and "good price plumber" would be an example of going too far.

That`s totally fine to create a bunch of landings, if you won`t just multiply thin useless content on each (and won`t create several pages covering too similar topics). But if you create separate landings for each kind of service you offer, and you actually can provide some helpful insights on each - that totally makes sense.

Agreed with Sclark, as long as the content is helpful and gives accurate information about different services and you don't overdo it - it's all good.

  • First of all the page should be load in quick. If its not like that then the Google crawler doesn't rank the page higher. The page should be well written ,unique, attractive so that the Google easily rankup your page higher.but not only the keywords or attractive or unique pages work with that you have to be updated and do block commenting ,classifieds, etc .
