Help understanding Adsense

Hi All
I've got a site were I placed an adsense block.
The site got a few pages.
In the main page the adsense ads show sometimes,other times
it shows public ads.
In the secondary pages it always show the ads.
The site is not new and really I don't understand why this happen.
If Google robots can read and understand my site content to show
ads one times why not other times?
Please can someone with experience with adsense help me?

  • It sounds like the main page is not real targeted but without seeing it, it's just a guess. it could also be that the content on the main page simply does not have too many advertisers that match the content. Maybe not enough ads.

      Maybe the problem are with the keywords in the main page.
      I just made some changes,lets see what's happen.
