Need some advice on a content idea I have

I'm setting up a niche site using wordpress, which I will structure using ONLY pages using a silo structure.

I'm planning on producing keyword optimized content, but in the meantime, I thought I could have a separate section on the site using the categories and tags for posting rewritten plr content, nothing that is optimized for any keyword, just posts that can pull traffic from Pinterest etc in the meantime while I work on the main content.

Would It be best to set these posts to no-index?

And is this a good idea?

    It should still be optimized. On-page optimization has to do with more than gaming search engines. Your content is focused on one subject. This should be reflected in your title and sub-headings. If you are writing for humans, this should be a natural occurrence.
