Does it matter if I use a S or a Z at the end of my domain name?

So I found a domain name I think would be great. However, the name is in use. The domain itself is just sitting there unused. I could copy the name, and replace the s with a z. I'm just wondering could this hurt traffic in a significant way? Btw the domain would be for a message board (forum, whichever you prefer to call it.)

Domain name should depend on your product name. If you are going to use name like another brand with small change (for example addidos instead of addidas), the brand owner, if notice it, will close your domain.

But in general it doesn't matter for SEO

It might not matter from SEO perspective ... unless you highlight the Z ... your visitors might not remember it & you would loose your visitors to the actual site (with s)

  That is one of my concerns. Also I worry visitors may think it's unprofessional or childish to use a Z instead of an S. Turning them away from the site.
