Hi,

I have this new website and I am doing SEO, 2 weeks before I checked backlinks in SEM rush it said none. But now it shows some backlinks to my website. This is good progress, right? But the thing is there is a column called link type and mostly it shows no follow or no follow deleted.So, basically, my backlinks are useless? How can i get proper backlinks?

  • You cannot say that your backlinks are useless but do proper backlinks on relevant and trusted websites and make sure when you create a backlinks it's dofollow also.

  • Check Domain Authority and page Authority of site. create a high quality of back link

  • Semrush always showed data after some days, if you want to check real progress then I suggest to use ahrefs.
    No-follow also helps to get good rank, but those should be quality links.
