Should I buy these domains for my PBN?

I scraped the internet and found some domains with good metrics to build my pbn. However I need some advice.

For some of the domains -

1. The backlink profile is strong and appears to be absolutely clean in ahrefs and majestic.

2. However the most recent snapshots (either the most recent 2 or 3 snapshots) in webarchive indicate that the site was made into a chinese site by someone for a short period of time and then the domain dropped.

Should I go for such domains ? They are highly niche relevant, super strong authority backlinks and appear to have a completely clean anchor/backlink profile.

Besides the chinese language in the recent snapshot I cannot find any clue that could indicate a penalty. I am finding it hard to giveup these domains. The metrics are too good.

  • For those domains you can use as backlinks to your backlinks (tier2) so you have less risk

    • that's a workable solution. but is there some way to find out whether the domain is good enough for tier 1 ? If i register the domain and it get indexed within 24 hours, would it indicate a penalty free domain.
  • I know this is late to this thread but never saw it before. Just a heads up - many chinese domains like those were deindexed (a lot were not) by google as a penalty. When you scrape for old domains they are usually not indexed because they have not been live and fall out of the index.

    Theres no real way of knowing for sure at that point if they have or have not been penalized (and Google will not reindex them automatically). However because of the number of sites that have been used by chinese black hatters seeing those links is NOT a good sign and they are risky to buy.
