    SEO is not easy, backlinks which is a part of off site SEO, have to be theme relevant and at best SPAM free. The Highest value Backlinks have a pretty high value, from 250 to 8thou is not unheard of.

    Your website has very little unique content, almost all text passages are short and the read as copied one from another.

    the best links I find are found on page one as I do competitive analysis for my keywords

    they seem to have the greatest amount of link juice

    Asking what are the best backlink directories is like asking what is the best smelling fish after it is left out to rot for two weeks. It doesn't really matter, they all stink.

    No directory is going to help you rank better. If it is a widely used one that is extremely focused on your niche (if you can find such a directory), you might get a trickle of traffic from it.

    Finally, there is no such thing as "boosting my site up easily". Creating great content and getting great links from real people takes actual effort. That's why such a small percentage of people are successful. Like everything in life, only the people who work the hardest are the ones who rise to the top.

    You can search for free business directories and register your site there. You should be able to find around 20 of them.
    Don't expect too much from those back links, but it is nice starting point
