SEMrush and Ahrefs are the best tools to track competitors backlinks.

And to get indexed fast you need some good links linking towards your site from high authority pages.

How do you know your website is not indexed? Type in google - Site: <yourdomainname.com> and press enter.

If you are able to see your website in the search result pages, that means your website is already indexed. Indexing of all the pages doesn't happen immediately after you submit your website through Webmaster Tools. The Google crawlers take their own time to index all the pages of the website.

I don't know if it will help you but it's a website called Link Searching . com that seems to let you find free backlinks. Not sure how well it works I just seen it a while ago and never got to really get my hands on it but by typing in your keywords I guess you can find your target audience to do blog commenting and things like that to get free backlinks and grow your website or websites.

SEO SpyGlass is a cool one, it allows analyzing competitors' backlink profiles in-depth, but the best thing is that it lets you add several websites to a project for overall comparison, and find the link intersections between all competitors - that`s super handy for finding the sources that are likely to cover the niche and to link to alike sites.

cognitiveSEO is a great tool to use for checking on competitors. I've been using if for almost a year.

You can add competitors and compare them directly with your website from a backlink perspective, from social exposure perspective and many others. The learning curve is a bit steep but after you understand everything it's not a big deal. I went through the free live demos they offer.

You literally compare them side by side and the tool makes it really easy to understand. You can identify potential niches very easy.

It can also help you recover from Google penalties in case you got into any. It has a strong unnatural link detection tool (links that Google sees as spammy) and it can categorize them and export them into Disavow Files that you can upload to Google.

They have case studies about recoveries.

You can check more at their website http://www.cognitiveseo.com

First, you need to check with your robots.txt whether all the links are allowed to crawl or not and then search your website on Google with the following format "site: http:your site name".
