Hi Everyone,

I have a domain which I want to use to build my brand.
I didn't add any content on this domain for 2, 3 years and I used
a theme which imported quite a few demo posts which I never
touched or deleted.

Now I want to take it on but I wanted to get feedback if it's a good idea to
use this domain considering I didn't add any content to it for years and it
might have been punished?

Thanks for your help. It will really help me eliminating my doubts
as I really like this domain for my project.

Thanks,
IMGem

I'd say yes, go ahead and use it. Delete all the demo posts, and some really valuable unique content that your create (or pay to have created), and build the site you need.

Google values an ages domain, and even though having demo content on a site for years is less than ideal, you should be fine once you fill the site with your own content.

Just relaunch it. And then start adding content along side with it also start promoting it through proper channels.

There's no issue with that. No way to procrastinate even though its your 1st time

The only lacking here is execution.

Go ahead and play for it. Make it profitable!

There is no problem if you don't add content to the domain. You can have that domain till anyone buys it.Just renew it on time and add content when you are ready.
