The URL can be divided into four basic parts; the protocl and domain name, the path, the file name and parameters. The order of importance is from left to right.
So to answer to your question, the fact that the term best-coffee appears within the domain name and path is perfectly fine and normal. In fact, it's optimal.

You have GOT to be kidding...

      Importance from left to right?

Do you even know what protocol is?!?!?!?!?!?

And according to you, it's most important?

You have got to be kidding.

A domain is not a url for one simple reason. It needs a location.

A domain has no file location.

Hence, the warrior forum, as many sites, uses index.php as the file location.

So you might think you are going to warriorforum.com, when in reality you are going to the url:
      warriorforum.com/index.php

How you name the file location is probably of utmost importance.

So the chap above has it reversed.

Protocol is a nonissue for anyone searching on the internet. And I mean nonissue.

You need to explain what a "header tag" is.

And when you do, you will reveal how clueless the whole answer was.

Do you people actually know anything? Or do you just repeat nonsense that you think you heard...

Well, as you know, keywords in the URL are still an important factor to determine your pages CTR, as they show up in search results, and serve one of the most prominent elements searchers consider when selecting which site to click. So, might happen that
    best-coffee.com/best-coffee-in-washington
would be more self explanatory in some way.

It`s not such a crucial factor in terms of rankings, so it`s unlikely that /best-coffee-in-washington URL would give a noticeable boost, or /in-washington will get you in trouble.

But logically - the best URL is a descriptive one, users appreciate it looking through the results, Google likes it. In case it`d be descriptive and relative to the page`s actual content - seems quite natural it would include the focus keywords. So I`d go for best-coffee.com/best-coffee-in-washington

Keyword in domain url will benefit your website ranking as per https://www.hover.com/blog/how-impor...a-domain-name/

But use the keyword in that way which would still look as the brand name in place of keyword stuffing in domain url.

The urls which you have suggested seems keyword stuffing. I would like to suggest some option for your domain such as awecoffeejunction, coffeekick etc.

If keyword in the URL, Title tag, description tag and header tag then jump your keywords on the top of search engines. So it's your advantage having keyword in the URL.

    Hi Dodo

You should focus more on putting keyword in Meta title tags, Meta description tags, URL, header tag, alt tag and anchor tag for an effective ranking progress.
Off course, putting your keywords in URL gives you good advantages, but there are many more metrics of strategies involved for a good business growth.

    Thanks
